Dear Ulli,

I was just about the ask a family member who lives in Austria to try and track you down to see how you're doing, since you have not responded to my emails since 2020...
It pains me to know that you're gone and we haven't had the chance to say goodbye. Our unique friendship goes back to 2000, when you were visiting Israel with your wife and had stayed in the Crown Plaza hotel in the Dead Sea, where I was working as a waitress. I'm so happy I got to know you. You had a wonderful sense of humor, good-natured, such an interesting person to talk to and a devoted husband.
I hope you are at peace.
I will always remember and love you.
