Goodbye father,

I wish you had attempted to meet me, which would have made you very proud.
It saddens me to discover through the Internet that you died three years ago. Perhaps, seeing how you have never attempted to meet me in person in nearly four decades, I will perhaps one day meet you at your resting place if I ever travel to Germany. 

You were absent and underserving to be called my parent-- but forgive you,
